There are some countries that are recognized by the name of their religions and India is one of them. India is the mother of Hinduism. She is the only major country with Hindu identity. Its majority of the population is the Hindus. The Hindus maintained their identity despite facing different Muslim and Charistian ruling identities. “Hindutva” is the basic policy of many Hindu nationalists. This idealogy is followed by different ethnic, religious and political groups in India. Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) is also highly inspired by Hindutva.
